Description
"Brown Creeper On Tree Trunk" by Debbie Oppermann. It took me forever to get a close up of this tiny Brown Creeper that probes into crevices and picks at the loose bark of trees for insects in the woods. The Creepers typically spiral upwards from the bottom of a tree trunk and then fly down to the bottom of another tree and spiral up again. This little Brown Creeper was moving steadily up the tree in the spring woods in Guelph Ontario Canada. A Brown Creeper clings to the textured bark of a tree. Its feathers blend with the earthy hues of the trunk, creating a harmonious natural scene.
